Shakira Gives Birth To Baby Boy

With the "royal baby" still on the way, 2013 seem to be the birth-year of many celebrity children.
Latin singer Shakira and her soccer-star boyfriend Gerard Piqué have welcomed a baby boy in a Barcelona hospital on Tuesday (January 22) at 9:36 p.m.
The proud parents revealed the name of their son as "Milan Piqué Mebarak" in a statement via Shakira's website. According to announcement: "The name Milan (pronounced MEE-lahn), means dear, loving and gracious in Slavic; in Ancient Roman, eager and laborious; and in Sanskrit, unification. Just like his father, baby Milan became a member of FC Barcelona at birth."
Baby Milan weighed 6 pounds, 6 ounces, and both mother and child are said to be in excellent health.
Milan is the first child for Shakira and Piqué.
