Kanye West is very well known for his inflated outbursts and confident sense of self, but it appears the rapper has reached new egotistical heights by calling his latest single I am a God.
It was originally rumoured that a whole album bearing the holy name was set for release. However, an industry insider has since dismissed the claims, saying instead that it would serve as the title for his forthcoming track.
Confirming the name of the song to the Huffington Post, a source from West's camp added: "We would never be so presumptuous or sacrilegious to call ourselves the supreme being."
Whatever it’s called, the album will be his first release since his 2011 collaboration with Jay-Z, Watch the Throne. Clearly not content with being a king, now West has his sights set even higher. In my opinion, he's certainly losing it. I wonder what kind of message would such a tittle carry?
