Man Chooses Prison Over Alcohol Ban

A man has chosen to be locked up in prison instead of living with an alcohol ban.
Milo Manu Felix Wild from Darwin, Australia was given a suspended jail sentence last November over a drunken incident during Anzac Day, a national day of remembrance.

The judge ruled that the 22-year-old could not drink alcohol for two years.
Wild, however, asked to carry out a three-month term in jail after deciding that life "was not worth living without alcohol". hahahaha

He admitted that he was miserable at home all the time, with his friends regularly going out to pubs and clubs.
Lawyer Georgia McMaster, representing Wild, said: "Darwin people of his generation go out and have a good time on the weekend and drink."

Meanwhile, Magistrate John O'Neill called the decision "extraordinary".
